Found some pics. They're all from "log in" sites, so I just cropped and uploaded them. =P Kshamenk came from usefilm.com - the others are stock photography. They're all bigger (like massively) so if you want the bigger versions, holler and I'll upload them too. All of these are around 75 K

Lolita & pilot whale
I didn't know the Seaquarium ever had a pilot whale. Looks like a long-finned... perhaps early 80s? Just judging by the lack of Hugo and the presence of Speedos. Ugh. The pilot whale's melon looks funny. Just off color and rough looking.

Hmmm....I know that MSQ had a Risso....maybe it is a Risso although it looks pretty much like a pilot whale

Oh yeah, I think you're right. =D
Though, hmm, on second though, does it look like it has an "elbow" in the pecs? That would be more of a pilot whale thing. And the more rounded dorsal makes me wonder too. (Compared to a lot of tall "orca-ish" ones I've seen in Risso's.)

The MMIR lists that Miami did have a long-finned pilot whale named Christmas Cookie who was there from 12/89 and died 7/91.
There were also Risso's dolphins there - two of them. Ganky and Tiaka
Ganky was there from 4/89 - 2/95 Tiaka was there from 4/89 - 12/89

Wow, thanks Shannon, for that extra background info! Hey Laurie, did you take any pictures on that particular MSQ visit? I'm really curious to what it looked like! Much of the pilot whale's head seems to be roughed up somehow... Check out its upper and lower jaw too! Wonder how he/she got that... As for the Kshamenk pics... Holler!! Will that do, Kim? Thanks a lot for looking all these pics up! My favorite category!
