Anyone know anything about their mascot, "Flipper"? All I could find was the name and that he/she lived in a tank in the end zone...

What time period are we talking about?

The one in Ace Ventura is named Nosey and she lives at Top Deck.

The only other info I could find is that Flipper was not an official mascot, and I would assume he/she was there during the 70's.

Couldn't find any info on the time period, either.

I found something that said in 1971, an entire football team (the Gators) jumped into his tank.

I had heard that Hollywood, one of the MSQ dolphins, was the Miami dolphins mascot. She was transported to the Orange Bowl during games and put in a temporary pool. She would kick a "field goal" and then be taken back to the Seaquarium. When her calf Star was born, they took both of them to the stadium.

I had heard this from a Seaquarium trainer but sadly I can't find any other info on it.

Its possible that there were other dolphins that performed this role as well.
